Description of the activity

Strike out for freedom on the untouched mountainsides of Alpe d'Huez with an off piste ski day. Whether you are a novice seeking a first experience or an expert skier in search of more extreme sensations, our experienced guides propose over 70 off piste itineraries in the Alpe d’Huez area. Explore treasures such as Côtes de Rivet for beginners, the fun of Roche Melon, the traditional Combe du Loup, or the sensational Perrins. Follow your guide’s advice based on your ambitions, ability and the snow conditions.

Alpe d'Huez also proposes unique experiences, such as the Grand Sablat descent. Starting from the top of Pic Blanc, this itinerary is an adventure into the wilderness, covering more than 2,000m to the charming village of Clavans. Stop for lunch at the Savel inn, then taxi back for a second off-piste session to complete this unforgettable day.

For freeride enthusiasts, there is nowhere quite like La Grave. The Vallons de la Meije cable car transports you to an altitude of 3,200m for a breath-taking descent over 2,000m. Explore the picturesque village and the majestic peaks of La Meije and Râteau. No chair lifts, no groomed slopes, just unmarked itineraries through forests, combes and corridors.

For half a day, a day or a 5-day course, in a group or by yourself, this kind of experience shared with your guide guarantees total immersion in all the splendour of the Alps and complete freedom on the mountainsides.
