Glacier hike in Alpe d’Huez
Get a close look at the glaciers, explore an exceptional environment !
The adventure starts with the Pic Blanc cable car, which transports you up to an altitude of 3,330m and the Grand Sablat glacier. From there, your route takes you towards Col de la Pyramide, a milestone not to be missed, before progressing towards Col de l'Impossible.
This fantastic circuit finishes with Col du Grand Sablat. An incredible 360° panorama awaits at each stage, offering breath-taking views over the nearby valleys and majestic Alpine peaks.

Beginner - good walker - good physical condition
Equipment required
High, rigid hiking boots (available to rent from “La Montagne Sport” shop in Bourg d'Oisans) + trousers + wind breaker or fleece + thin gloves + hat + poles + back pack with water bottle (at least 1l/person) + picnic + sun cream.
