Extraordinary hikes

Out-of-the ordinary hikes offer a unique experience of the mountains. The heart-warming “Brasero & Raclette” activity starts with a snowshoe hike at dusk. After a 30-minute climb, you will come to a clearing in the forest, where a carefully prepared brasero awaits. Enjoy a mulled wine aperitif followed by a delicious raclette. Headlamps will be provided for the walk back to the resort to end the evening.

Or what about a night-time hike to an authentic igloo for the “Igloo & Fondue” activity? Take a short walk on snowshoes to reach an igloo for an aperitif under the stars, followed by a tasty cheese fondue. Relax and enjoy the moment before putting your snowshoes back on again. Fascinating facts about nature and the resort of Alpe d’Huez will be shared along the way. If the skies are clear, learn more about the stars and constellations around the igloo.

There is also a lighter option, with the “Mountain kir aperitif” hike. A snowshoe walk of between 45 and 60 minutes will bring you to a viewpoint overlooking the bright lights of the resort. Enjoy a friendly aperitif with mountain kir, saucisson and a Génépi shooter. Make sure you have ski gear, gloves and a hat for the walk back!
