Pedestrians
- Signal ridge
This snowshoe excursion starts from the top of the Signal slope, accessed either via the Signal chairlift from Alpe d’Huez or the Villarais lift from Villard Reculas. The route takes you to the radio antenna and back, offering 2.5km of breath-taking views over the Romanche valley, Alpe d’Huez, and the Sarenne gorges. Be careful: the route is very steep along the Petit Price drag lift.Chills and thrills guaranteed!
Cross-country skiing
- Poutran circuit
From the middle station of DMC (2,100m), take the pedestrian route down towards Plage des Neiges and Hippodrome (Poutran circuit), only open if conditions are good. This 3.5km cross-country circuit offers a superb panoramic view over the Romanche valley and Oz.
It will take approximately 2 hours to complete the circuit (variable depending on ability).
- Lake circuit
Looking for something longer?The lake circuit is perfect for you! From the DMC1 station at 2,100m, ski besides the lakes Besson, Carrelet and Faucille until you reach the Alpette lift in Vaujany.
